Mr. John's
Ristorante is the culmination of several
months of discussions between John Santopadre,
its owner, and Greg Syrup, its Executive
Chef. The Italian heritage of both produced
a desire to make Mr. John's a truly unique
Italian experience in New Orleans.
With
an abundance of fresh, local and readily
available imported products, the menu presented
by Chef Christian is bursting with the full
flavors of the finest Italian dishes. Proscuitto
from Frioli and aged Provolone from Parma
are basic ingredients in many of our menu
items. Several dishes are prepared utilizing
product from our own Gulf waters, e.g. Calamari,
Snapper, and Tuna. Our commitment to the
finest Beef products continues our tradition
of bringing you the finest Steaks in the
area.
